Well-maintained skis and snowboards perform better, last longer, and feel more predictable. We offer ski and snowboard tuning and service support, including waxes, edge work, full tunes, base repairs, binding mounts or remounts, binding function tests, snowboard binding adjustments, and repair estimates for more involved damage.
Our shop technicians will help you understand the tuning your gear actually needs, from a simple wax to edge work, base repair, or a full tune. We’ll always recommend the service that best fits the condition of your gear and what it needs.

Bluebird Mountain Sports was created to connect our three locations, in Santa Fe, Angel Fire, and Salida, while preserving the local knowledge, service culture, and community trust that makes each shop unique. Bluebird is a shared name for shops with decades of local relationships behind them.
Today, we work with customers across northern New Mexico and southern Colorado at our three brick-and-mortar shops, and through our online store. At each location, our goal is simple: to provide skiers and snowboarders with helpful service, reliable equipment, practical advice, and a better experience on the mountain.
At Bluebird Mountain Sports, we take an individualized approach to rentals, including measuring every foot so each customer starts with a better-fitting setup.
We offer online rental reservations at all three locations, including daily rental packages, and seasonal rental options. For daily rentals, you can pick up your gear the evening before the rental date (after 2pm), you can return it the morning after (before 10am) without an additional daily charge. Our rental packages also include damage insurance.
When you reserve your gear before you arrive, you can get fitted, and ask any questions, so you’ll be ready to enjoy your time on the mountain, without worrying about your gear. We’re here to answer questions clearly, help families get organized, and make sure you are ready to enjoy your time on the mountain without worrying about your gear.
Our Santa Fe shop serves local skiers and snowboarders, families getting ready for winter, visitors heading for the mountain, and customers who want help before buying, renting, or servicing gear.

Boots can make or break your ski day. Our bootfitting process starts with you: we’ll consider your foot shape, comfort issues, skiing style, fit history, and goals before recommending a boot, a footbed, or a modification.
We offer expert bootfitting support at our shops, including new boot purchase guidance, custom footbeds, fit consultations, liner heat molding, and shell or liner modifications, as needed.
For customers who purchase new boots and custom footbeds from Bluebird, we offer a two-year fit guarantee that includes the necessary liner and shell modifications to help improve how your boots fit.
The staff at our Angel Fire shop helps families, visitors, and local riders get ready for the mountain, with ski and snowboard rentals, demo gear, accessories, tuning, and bootfitting support.
